The right to respect for human dignity is one of the fundamental human rights, which, unfortunately, is often violated in modern society. And this applies not only to crimes aimed at destroying or degrading human dignity in wartime. This includes discrimination, bullying, and hate speech, which degrade dignity and destroy the human psyche. And a destroyed personality can feel the unbearableness of life, its meaninglessness and illusory nature. Destroyed dignity is a destroyed person, his inner potential, his worldview, his meanings and values.
One of the main goals of education is the awareness of human dignity and respect for human rights and freedoms. This is stated in Article 13 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Therefore, educational institutions should become the center where respect for human dignity, respect for human rights and freedoms is formed.
