On April 9, a student meeting was held at the Rivne Vocational College of NUBiP of Ukraine.
At the general meeting, he spoke Oleksandr Sanchenko, Head of the Department of Regional Development, Coordination of VSP Activities, Distance Education and Correspondence Studies of the NUBiP of Ukraine, who noted that by order No. 48-k-24 dated March 7, 2024 and the corresponding publication on the website, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced a competition for the position of rector of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. According to these documents, the elections of the university rector will be held on May 28, 2024.
In accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" dated 01.07.2014 No. 1556, Methodological recommendations on the features of the electoral system and the procedure for electing the head of a higher education institution, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 05.12.2014 No. 726, the Statute of the NUBiP of Ukraine, the rector of the university is elected by secret ballot of full-time scientific, scientific-pedagogical, pedagogical employees and elected representatives of the University and separate divisions.
The election of the rector is preceded by the procedure for electing elected representatives at the University and separate units.
Daryna Makarchuk, the head of the college student council, was elected as the chairman of the meeting. She announced the proven quota of student representatives to participate in the rector elections, the composition of the student precinct election commission consisting of seven people, and the list of student representatives to participate in the rector elections of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in the amount of 33 people. Voting took place at the meeting on these items.
The election of 33 student representatives to participate in the election of the rector of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine was held by secret ballot (package form), the voting form was unanimously chosen at the meeting. The number of votes cast for the list of candidates was 96.5 %.
Also on this day, a meeting of the labor collective of full-time college employees who are not scientific, scientific-pedagogical, and pedagogical employees was held.
To elect the rector of the University, the chairman of the meeting, Serhiy Kovalchuk, proposed to include six people from among the non-teaching employees of the college in the electorate. Then, voting took place and the results of the vote were announced. The secret vote was held in a batch form (by list). The number of votes cast for the list of candidates was 95.7 %.
The above-mentioned events were held in accordance with regulatory documents and were organized.
