Round table "Twenty years of the state geodetic reference coordinate system USK 2000: how to overcome the SK-63 coordinate system"

On March 26, 2024, teachers of the cyclical commission of land management disciplines and students of education 193 "Geodesy and Land Management" took part in the round table "Twenty years of the State Geodetic Reference Coordinate System USK 2000: how to overcome the SK-63 coordinate system."

The event is organized by the Department of Geoinformatics and Photogrammetry of the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Research Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, and the Public Union "Ukrainian Society of Geodesy and Cartography".

On September 22, 2004, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1259 “Some Issues of the Application of the Geodetic Reference Coordinate System” was adopted, which stated that starting from January 1, 2007, topographic, geodetic and cartographic works will be carried out using the State Geodetic Reference Coordinate System USK-2000.

A series of roundtable discussions will be held by this date:

– How to overcome the SK-63 coordinate system;

– Ways to develop the national geodetic reference system;

– Status and development trends of the State Geodetic Network of Ukraine.
