January 30-31 in Kyiv student of the 5th year of the VSP group of the RFK NUBiP of Ukraine – Dmytro Ostapchuk elections silver The first stage of the Ukrainian Cup in athletics throwing, the All-Ukrainian competitions in athletics throwing "In memory of ZTU Piskunov Yu.O." which were held at the Olympic training and sports center "Koncha-Zaspa".
Throwing a two-kilogram discus, Dmytro set a personal record of 42.94 m.

February 2-4 in the city Kyiv took place Ukrainian Athletics Championship indoors among adults and youth.
Rivne region was represented at these competitions by our athletes OSDYUSSHOR.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition were:
Zhulzhik Svetlana in the 800 meter distance, 2nd place among women and first place among youth with a result of 2.17.09 (coaches Tetyana Finchuk and Anna Murza).
Savchuk Kateryna and Julia Rock obtained third place among youth as part of the 4x400 meter relay team with a result of 4.08.98 (coaches Oleg Mashanenkov and Tetyana Grechko).
