The conference on non-formal education and innovation in higher education, organized by the co-founded IT company Genesis with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Digital Economy, was held on May 3, 2025. Participants participated both offline and online. Iryna Yakymchuk, Head of the IT Department of the Rivne Vocational College of the NUBiP of Ukraine, participated directly in the conference room of the Genesis office.
Before the start of the conference, there was a discussion of Iryna Yakymchuk's Strum platform with Oleksiy Nishchyk, Education Operations Director at Genesis, who thanked for the training courses, two of which have already been implemented under the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" of the Bachelor's degree program.

The conference was also attended by a lecturer at the IT Faculty of NUBiP of Ukraine – Olena Kryvoruchko, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, whom we have known since 2021 as a scientist in the field of cybersecurity.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, addressed the participants with a video address. The event program was rich, including panel discussions and speeches by invited experts.
Panel discussion "Strategy for the Digital Development of Innovations in Ukraine until 2030." The discussion was moderated by Natalia Mykolska, Executive Director of the Technology Business Association Diia.City United.

- Ksenia Semenova, Acting Rector of the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute"
The next presentation was "Collaboration with Business as a Tool for Introducing Innovation in Higher Education," prepared by Genesis. The presentation outlined the training courses prepared by the company for introducing higher education into the educational process during the preparation of bachelor's and master's degrees.


The speech "Artificial Intelligence for Supporting the Educational Process" was presented by Oles Dobosevich, Head of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University.



Panel discussion "Discourse around Artificial Intelligence in Education." The discussion was moderated by Oleksandra Tyrkalova, University Partnerships Lead, Genesis.

- Heorhiy Shevchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science of the Kyiv School of Economics.
- Oles Dobosevich, Head of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
The final block of the conference was workshops:
- “Student Assistantship at UCU: From Initiative to Tradition.” Speaker – Yaroslav Prytula, First Vice-Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
- "Emotional intelligence of a teacher: how to take into account and work with the emotional-volitional sphere?" Speaker - Ilya Bachurin, trainer and training methodologist for Fortune 500 companies, co-founder of the Product IT Foundation for Education.
- "Project Management: Business Approaches to Organizing a Teacher's Workflow." Speaker – Andriy Skoromny, Delivery Manager, Promova.


Each of the speakers covered the topic from a theoretical and practical perspective, which encouraged those present to actively participate in the workshop.
The Innovating Education conference has become a platform for the exchange of experience between business, educational institutions, and the state with the aim of developing an innovative country in which technology and IT education play a key role.
