Meeting with writers from my native land

 The highlight of the ROUNB funds are the personal book collections of famous Rivne residents - former Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yuriy Rybachuk, art historians Bohdan Stolyarchuk and Anatoly Datskov, as well as Ukrainian publisher, journalist Sydor Kravets (USA). The largest share of the collections is made up of works of art by Ukrainian and foreign classics, books on history, philosophy, psychology, ethnography, art albums, and sheet music. Book collections reflect a wide range of interests of donors and reveal the world of their hobbies. The donated publications have become a valuable addition to the funds of the largest book collection in the Rivne region, whose departments are visited daily by many readers.

Students were able to see:

• presentation of personal book collections of famous people of Rivne region;
• speech by art critic Bohdan Stolyarchuk;
• speech by Halyna Andronivna Rybachuk, mother of former Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yuriy Rybachuk.

A good gift for our college library was Bohdan Stolyarchuk's book "The Bliss of Shamed Gray Hair."

The event was held as part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Rivne Regional Universal Scientific Library. Thanks to such meetings, students understand how important it is to preserve and popularize personal collection books of famous writers of the Rivne region.
