On Monday, March 24, students of grades 21-O, 22-O, and 21-P of the Economics Department, along with their supervisors Iryna BARANOVSKAYA, Tetyana KUPCHYSHINA, and Andriy BOSYUK, had a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice by participating in the exciting game “Economic Simulator.” This interactive event became an excellent platform for developing analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills in real market conditions.
The game “Economic Simulator” simulates complex economic processes, allowing participants to feel like business leaders. Students had the opportunity to manage virtual companies, make decisions regarding production, marketing, finance and other aspects of business.
The participants were divided into teams, each representing a different company. The competition was fierce, as each team sought to maximize profits and take a leading position in the market.
Throughout the game, learners faced a variety of challenges, such as changing market conditions, competition, limited resources, and unforeseen circumstances. They had to quickly adapt to changes, analyze data, predict trends, and make informed decisions.
The Economic Simulator game was not just entertainment, but a valuable learning experience for second-year students of the Economics Department, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge of economics, finance, and management in practice, develop analytical skills and decision-making under uncertainty, learn to work in a team and communicate effectively, and understand the relationship between different aspects of business. This event not only enriched their knowledge, but also inspired further research in the field of economics.
