The prestigious WAKO European Kickboxing Cup was held in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) from February 20 to 23, 2025. About 3,000 athletes from different countries took part in the competition, competing for the title of the best in their categories.
Among the participants of the Ukrainian national team was our first-year student, group 11-P, Denis Styupko – a pupil of Zdolbunivska Youth and Sports School. For Denis, this is already the third international start, and it has become truly significant for him. The athlete confidently held two fights in the section full contact, gaining early victories. Thanks to his skill, perseverance and indomitable spirit, he won gold of the 2025 European Cup!
This success is the result of hard work, training and support from mentors. We congratulate Denis on a brilliant victory and wish him further sporting achievements, new achievements and unwavering faith in himself! May this victory be just the beginning of a great journey to the world's peaks!
