On February 11, 2025, the world community celebrated Safer Internet Day, drawing attention to the importance of digital security and responsible use of online resources. On this occasion, the National Bank of Ukraine initiated Safer Internet Week, during which educational events aimed at increasing the level of knowledge on payment security took place.
VSP "Rivne Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine" actively participated in this initiative, organizing a number of educational events for students. On February 11, 2025, the educational institution held classes dedicated to key aspects of cybersecurity, including: recognizing fraudulent schemes, safe use of a financial phone number, and rules for responsible handling of personal information on social networks.
Participants of the events had the opportunity to listen to lectures, take part in interactive discussions and quizzes. Of particular interest was the educational initiative "Payment Security Awareness Week", within which students learned about current threats in the digital environment, methods of protection against fraudsters and rules for safe online shopping.
The VSP RFK NUBiP of Ukraine plans to continue supporting similar educational initiatives aimed at developing digital literacy and financial security among young students.
