Maksym Kryvtsov was a soldier, a poet, and a photographer. He loved life. He dreamed of creating. But the war destroyed all his plans.
The creative output of "Dali" allows us to touch his soul - pure, kind, bright. And see the world as Maksym Kryvtsov saw it.
Maksym Kryvtsov was born on January 22, 1990 in Rivne. He studied at schools No. 23 and No. 28. He was engaged in swimming for about 10 years. He graduated from the Rivne College of Technology and Design with a degree in "Production of non-woven textile materials". Later, he studied footwear and leather goods design at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.
Participated in the Revolution of Dignity. In 2014, he volunteered for the front. He was a participant in the ATO/JFO. Later, he passed a strict selection and was assigned to the Rapid Reaction Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
After demobilization, he was a content manager at the Center for Readaptation and Rehabilitation of ATO and JFO Participants "YARMIZ" and a copywriter at the charitable organization "Veteran Hub". He joined the project for children "Spangled Raccoons" as a photographer and mentor.
On February 24, 2022, when the full-scale invasion began, Maksym "Dali" Kryvtsov joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner in the SSO. He fought in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
Maksym has been writing poems since his adolescence. His poems were published in the collections "The Book of Love 2.0. Love and War", "Where Home Is: 112 Poems about Love and War", "Lullaby of the 21st Century Vol. 1: What Lulls You to Sleep?".
Maxim's poems are set to music.
The band "Yurcash" performs songs based on his poetry - "Supreme Height", "He is in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, she is in the Territorial Administration", "Yellow Scotch"The latter is the soundtrack to the film "Our Cats". The singer Oohla has the composition "Metamorphoses» to the words of Maxim. Indie band adm:t recorded a single based on the poem "Tomorrow?". The band Vivienne Mort performs a song based on his poetry "Don't go here, don't go".
In December 2023, Maksym's first poetry collection, "Poems from the Breach," was published, which includes photographs of his authorship. During his life, "Dali" managed to hold only one presentation of "Poems from the Breach" - during the "Spotted Raccoons" camp, children read the poetry of "Dali."
On January 7, 2024, Maksym was killed during hostilities in the Kharkiv region.
