On November 1, 2024, the teacher of the cyclical commission of humanities Talabska O. E. held an open class "Life and work of Oleksandr Oles. Poetry."
Oles became a symbol of an entire period in 20th-century literature. His poems created the revival of the Ukrainian nation.
During the lesson, students of the 12th group got acquainted with the poet's work. They read poems, completed various tasks, found autobiographical motifs, and analyzed his creative heritage.
For Ukraine, Oles was one of the prophets who subtly felt his country, its experiences. Reading the poet's poems, one can hardly believe that they were written many years before the events of the Revolution of Dignity. He also wrote about the revival of the country and even predicted the notorious European Revolution.
"Concern" about recent events in Ukraine, writing the poem "Europe was silent."
