October 28 2024 took place Stage 1 of the 15th International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literary Competition for School and Student Youth. In accordance with the decree of the President of Ukraine “On the International Language and Literary Competition of Schoolchildren and Student Youth named after Taras Shevchenko”, in accordance with the Regulations on the International Language and Literary Competition of Schoolchildren and Student Youth named after Taras Shevchenko, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 1, 2011 No. 571.
Today, more than ever, Ukraine needs young talented individuals who truly realize the significance of Taras Shevchenko as a classic of Ukrainian literature, who unfold "Kobzar" and find answers to pressing questions there...
We express our gratitude to all students who showed linguistic and literary activity in the competition, in particular: Samchuk Artem (31-B), Lybak Anastasia (11-D), Pospekhova Lydia (11-Y), Rud Daryna (11-Y), Koldunovich Natalia (12-Y), Protsyuk Olga (13-YIT), Murynets Anastasia (11-O), Danyliv Sofia (11-F), Basyuk Maria (21-IP), Kuzmych Sofia (21-IP).
We remind you that the following requirements were imposed on the contestants: knowledge of the literary and artistic heritage of Taras Shevchenko; erudition; adherence to the norms of the literary language in written speech; creation of original texts in the form of a work-reflection, taking as a basis the statement of Ostap Vyshny: “Taras Shevchenko! One person was enough to save an entire nation!”; ability to formulate in writing their thoughts on whether T. Shevchenko’s work has universal significance for the past, present and future…
The best of the best will be chosen in a few days.
