On October 28, as part of the week of humanities disciplines in our college, the first stage of the Petro Jacyk International Ukrainian Language Competition was held. This competition traditionally brings together talented and caring students who are eager to deepen their knowledge and develop their speaking skills. The competition is quite symbolic, because October 27 marks the Day of the Ukrainian Language and Writing - a holiday that reminds us of the importance of our native language and the heritage left to us by our ancestors.
The competition was organized by the teachers of humanities Oleksandra Fedorchuk and Oksana Talabska, who managed to create an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual support, which added a special mood to the event. The competition took the form of written tasks that covered issues from various aspects of the Ukrainian language: spelling, vocabulary and phraseology. Special attention was paid to creative tasks that allowed the participants to demonstrate linguistic thinking and creativity.
There are still several stages ahead, where our students will have a chance to demonstrate their knowledge at new levels. So we wish everyone inspiration and further success in learning the Ukrainian language!
