For the first time, the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" of the Higher Educational Institution "RFK NUBiP of Ukraine" (ID in EDEBO 45674), according to which applicants for professional pre-higher education were recruited, was approved in 2020, and since then it has been constantly updated and improved.
The program was created in the absence of a standard for professional pre-higher education; at the initial stage, its formation was carried out on the basis of competencies provided for by the standard of the educational and qualification level "Junior Specialist".
During 2020-2024, the educational and professional program was updated and modernized three times: in the 2022/2023 academic year in accordance with the standard of professional pre-higher education approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 21, 2021 No. 1006 “On approval of the standard of professional pre-higher education in the specialty F2 Software Engineering in the field of knowledge 12 Information Technologies of the educational and professional degree “professional junior bachelor”; in the 2022/2023 academic year in accordance with the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine “Development of an educational and professional program and curriculum for the training of applicants for professional pre-higher education”; in the 2024/2025 academic year in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated May 2, 2023 No. 510 "On Approval of the Model Regulation on the Organization of the Educational Process in Institutions of Professional Pre-Higher Education and the Regulation on Practical Training of Applicants for Professional Pre-Higher Education."
In the process of implementing the educational and professional program "Software Engineering", the working group was and is in constant contact with employers and other stakeholders, the main of which are Golub Bella, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technologies, NUBiP of Ukraine; Malanchuk Nazar, Director of the Aprais IT Academy; FOP Trofymchuk Sergiy, FOP Volodymyr Oleksiychuk, graduates of the F2 Software Engineering specialty; Kurmash Oksana, Head of the Company Training Department of the international company QATestLab; representatives of the college's student government bodies, etc. The program is constantly being updated and modernized in order to meet the modern requirements of employers in the field of information technology.

Meeting of the cyclical commission of programming and information disciplines to discuss the draft of the educational and professional program "Software Engineering"
The educational and professional program "Software Engineering" undergoes an annual update process. This is due to the rapid development of information technologies, the current state of the economy and the realities of the time. Martial law in Ukraine has a great impact, which reduces the need for IT specialists. But the college, in particular, the programming department, understands that it is necessary not to stop and to compare itself with the experience of countries around the world.
Since the previous accreditation of the OPP "Software Engineering" (2019), many changes have occurred. Such changes are due to meetings with stakeholders who influence the content of the OPP. During the meetings, projects of the educational and professional program "Software Engineering" for the educational and professional degree of a professional junior bachelor were discussed.
Participation in IT hackathons, membership in the Public Organizations “Rivne IT Cluster” and “Rivne IT Education” influenced the introduction of changes in the curricula of the OPP. The approval of the educational standard for the OPP “Professional Junior Bachelor” in the specialty F2 Software Engineering made it possible to clearly formulate the goal of the OPP and the matrix of correspondence of general and special components to the learning outcomes. Meetings with stakeholders, representatives of IT companies, made it possible to implement the features of the OPP and determine the list of selective components. The constant holding of final conferences based on the results of industrial practices made it possible to organize and conduct an IT marathon, which allows for the practical application of acquired IT competencies in combination with various areas of work of enterprises in Rivne and the region and even beyond its borders. The circles "Programmer", "Computer Graphics", "Robotics and IoT of Things" allow you to implement the tasks of employers and describe the research conducted in the circles' classes, in theses and articles, as materials for various types of scientific and practical conferences. All the results of the events were considered in March of each year at the meetings of the cyclical commission of programming and information disciplines.
The main conclusion after the meeting of the cyclical commission on programming and information disciplines in March 2024 is the following: the version of the educational and professional program approved in 2023 is relevant, meets the standards of professional pre-higher education and the needs of employers, in connection with which it was decided to continue its use without significant changes. However, it is necessary to make changes to the curriculum of the educational and professional program in order to fulfill the requirements of the new Model Regulation on the Organization of the Educational Process in Institutions of Professional Pre-Higher Education and the Regulation on Practical Training of Applicants for Professional Pre-Higher Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 02.05.2023 No. 510.
The compliance of the educational program components with the requirements of the F2 Software Engineering specialty standard, modern product IT, and the status of corrections of the comments and suggestions of the expert group and the industry expert council that were provided during the previous accreditation examination were analyzed in detail.
