Scientific lecturer <strong>\u2013 Skrypchuk Petro Mykhailovych<\/strong>, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the National University of Agricultural Sciences, Head of the Regional Consulting and Educational Center for Organic Production (RCOC) in Rivne. Participants are students of specialty 193 &quot;Geodesy and Land Management&quot;.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2114769 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"2114769\"><style>.stk-2114769{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-2114769 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\"><strong>Petro SKRYPCHUK<\/strong> \u00a0In his lecture, he revealed the main provisions of the introduction of land and water footprint in Ukraine, which is due to our country&#039;s desire to join the \u00a0<strong>European Green Deal<\/strong>The main theses of the lecture are:<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-191b9a7 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"191b9a7\"><style>.stk-191b9a7{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-191b9a7 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\"><strong>European Green Deal<\/strong> is an EU action program, at the heart of which is an ambitious plan to transition to a climate-neutral Europe by 2050.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-a5c882d p-indent\" data-block-id=\"a5c882d\"><style>.stk-a5c882d{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-a5c882d .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The European Green Deal will be implemented <strong>in nine areas<\/strong>: <strong>(1) Climate; (2) Energy; (3) Industrial strategy for a circular economy; (4) Sustainable and smart mobility; (5) Green agricultural policy; (6) Preserving biodiversity; (7) Zero pollution; (8) Financial instruments; (9) The EU as a global leader<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-c34c30d p-indent\" data-block-id=\"c34c30d\"><style>.stk-c34c30d{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-c34c30d .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\"><strong>The main task in the field of agriculture<\/strong> (includes agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture) \u2013 ensuring food security.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The activities of the agricultural sector should be aimed at <strong>using sustainable practices such as organic production, precision farming, compliance with animal welfare standards, etc.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-f1ee184 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"f1ee184\"><style>.stk-f1ee184{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-f1ee184 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\"><strong>Land footprint<\/strong> is an indicator used to measure the amount of land used both domestically and abroad to produce the goods and services consumed by a country\/region. <strong>The EU&#039;s land footprint is estimated at 269 million hectares, which is 43% more than the agricultural land available in the EU<\/strong>73% of this land footprint is accounted for by the consumption of animal products, and the remainder is accounted for by vegetable oils and plant-based products.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-b1f19a8 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"b1f19a8\"><style>.stk-b1f19a8{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-b1f19a8 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">In conclusion, students seeking education for <strong>using the ecological footprint calculator<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.footprintcalculator.org\/home\/en\">Ecological Footprint Calculator<\/a>) calculated their ecological footprint on planet
