The Revolution of Dignity, which began in November 2013, became one of the greatest events in the modern history of Ukraine. It changed Ukraine, it changed each of us. The Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred is designed to perpetuate the human, civic and national courage and selflessness, the strength of spirit and resilience of citizens, thanks to which the course of the history of our state was changed, to worthily honor the feat of those who died for the ideals of democracy, human rights and freedoms, and the European future of Ukraine.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0a1dfb2 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"0a1dfb2\"><style>.stk-0a1dfb2{margin-bottom:0px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">10 years ago, on February 21, 2014, Maidan mournfully said goodbye to the activists, the immortal Heavenly Hundred.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-ebb24f9 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"ebb24f9\"><style>.stk-ebb24f9{margin-bottom:0px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Today, February 20, 2024, on the 10th anniversary of this heroic and tragic page in the history of Ukraine, the Scientific and Methodological Center of the VFPO, together with the Library and Information Center of the VSP &quot;Rivne Professional College of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Management of Ukraine&quot; held an online requiem event for the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-c97906f p-indent\" data-block-id=\"c97906f\"><style>.stk-c97906f{margin-bottom:0px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The event was moderated by a methodologist from the State Educational Institution &quot;Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education&quot; <strong>Iryna<\/strong> <strong>STEPANOVA.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3970814 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"3970814\"><style>.stk-3970814{margin-bottom:0px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The director of the college, Doctor of Economic Sciences, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. <strong>Vasyl Tsaruk. <\/strong>He reminded the participants how for many centuries our people tried to break free from the strong Russian embrace. Ivan Mazepa, Symon Petliura, Heroi Krut, Stepan Bandera, Roman Shukhevych, Vyacheslav Chornovil became symbols of the struggle against Russian imperialism. This struggle did not end with Ukraine&#039;s independence in 1991.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3a204c0 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"3a204c0\"><style>.stk-3a204c0{margin-bottom:0px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The attempt to turn Ukraine into a pro-Russian dictatorship is exactly what Ukrainian society rebelled against in 2013-2014. The revenge for this choice of Ukrainians was Russia&#039;s aggression, which continues to this day. But, despite the occupation of part of the territory, terrible human casualties and huge material losses, Ukraine continues its struggle. The Heavenly Hundred is our pain and our pride, our tears and gratitude for everything that the warriors of light have done for us. This is an example for each of us - an example of courage, heroism, self-sacrifice for the sake of the high ideals of Dignity and Freedom. Our duty is to preserve the memory of the heroes, to bring their great dream of a free, independent, united, European Ukraine to life.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-image <\/strong>and college students<strong> Roman Kurmash, Oleksandra Rachok, Viktoria Pavlenko, <\/strong>members of the ensemble &quot;Vyshyvanka&quot; under the direction of <strong>Tamara Stepaniuk<\/strong>:<strong> Natalia Bezushko, Anastasia Strukalo, Angelo Kozlov, Maksym Ovdiychuk <\/strong>They worthily presented a musical and poetic collage about the Heroes of the Heavenly
