The event brought together high school students, students, and educators who seek to better understand modern threats in the digital space and ways to overcome them.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-9f6701c p-indent\" data-block-id=\"9f6701c\"><style>.stk-9f6701c {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-9f6701c .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The first webinar, held on February 10, was dedicated to the topic &quot;Cybersecurity and Current Fraud Schemes&quot;. Speaker Tetyana Mashlakovska, Chief Expert of the Public Relations and Financial Awareness Department of the NBU, spoke about the importance of creating reliable passwords, using multi-factor authentication to protect personal pages on social networks, and ways to recognize phishing messages. The problem of money mules, when people, without suspecting it, become accomplices in financial crimes, was also examined in detail. Participants learned about modern fraudulent schemes and methods of combating them. At the end of the webinar, everyone was able to test their knowledge during an interactive game on the Kahoot platform.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-03234b4 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"03234b4\"><style>.stk-03234b4 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-03234b4 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The next day, a webinar \u201cPayment Fraud: Investigating Together with the Cyber Police\u201d was held. Oleksandr Ulyanenkov, police lieutenant colonel and head of the online fraud countermeasures department of the Cyber Police Department, spoke about the latest methods used by fraudsters to extort funds, as well as the latest trends in payment fraud. Participants received practical advice on protecting financial data and learned how law enforcement agencies work to prevent such crimes. The webinar ended with a game on the Kahoot platform.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-327cc39 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"327cc39\"><style>.stk-327cc39 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The final webinar on February 12 aimed to reveal career opportunities in the field of cybersecurity. Speaker Nikita Veselkov, an expert at ESET in Ukraine, spoke about the relevance of the profession of a cybersecurity analyst, the necessary skills for a successful start to a career, the main specializations and prospects for the development of the industry. Special attention was paid to the impact of war on digital security issues and methods of protection against new cyber threats. Participants learned what resources will help develop professional competencies and become in-demand specialists in the field of information security.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-8766d84 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"8766d84\"><style>.stk-8766d84 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The event was attended by students from the Information Technology Department, as well as second and third year students of the Cybersecurity and Information Protection specialty. The webinar series was a great opportunity for them to expand their knowledge about cyber threats and protection methods.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-dae53f1 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"dae53f1\"><style>.stk-dae53f1 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The event once again emphasized the importance of digital awareness and responsible use of online resources.
