In 2025, the share of expenditures on education and science is 9%. Over the past two years, these expenditures have increased by 35% - from 143.4 billion UAH in 2023 to 194.3 billion UAH. in 2025. Compared to 2024, the growth is more than 11%.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-e40b497 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"e40b497\"><style>.stk-e40b497 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-e40b497 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">This year, funding for professional pre-university and higher education will continue, for which the budget provides UAH 55.6 billion. UAH 540 million will be allocated for training and practical centers in vocational education institutions and for laboratories and workshops in professional colleges.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-e7be900 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"e7be900\"><style>.stk-e7be900 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-e7be900 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">UAH 28 billion has been allocated to finance grants for higher education. At the same time, more state financial support will be provided to applicants who will enter agricultural specialties.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-24e9b09 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"24e9b09\"><style>.stk-24e9b09 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-24e9b09 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">UAH 12.5 billion will be allocated to support priority scientific research, such as developments in the field of energy, defense technologies, food security, and information systems, which is UAH 292 million more than in 2024. In general, science funding will increase sevenfold - to UAH 14.5 billion.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-bbf53b6 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"bbf53b6\"><style>.stk-bbf53b6 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-bbf53b6 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">The educational subvention for teachers&#039; salaries in 2025 will remain at the level of 2024 - 103.2 billion UAH. An important innovation is additional payments to teachers in the amount of 12 billion UAH. Note that in 2024 this item was not separately allocated. So, from January 1, 2025, teachers will receive additional payments in the amount of 1,000 UAH, and from September 1, 2025 - 2,000 UAH. Unfortunately, these additional payments are not provided for teachers of professional colleges.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-85a6bab p-indent\" data-block-id=\"85a6bab\"><style>.stk-85a6bab {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-85a6bab .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">In 2025, one of the priority areas is spending on the reform of the New Ukrainian School (NUS), which amounts to UAH 2.15 billion, which is 43% more than in 2024. It is expected that funds will be allocated for improving the qualifications of teachers, purchasing modern teaching aids, updating educational programs, etc.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3b6bf3d p-indent\" data-block-id=\"3b6bf3d\"><style>.stk-3b6bf3d {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-3b6bf3d .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">It is planned to print over 20 million new textbooks in 2025. UAH 1.4 billion will be allocated for this purpose.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-35f9c30 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"35f9c30\"><style>.stk-35f9c30 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-35f9c30 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">UAH 2.9 billion will be spent on nutrition for primary school students. It will also include special dietary programs for children with special needs.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1ecd806 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"1ecd806\"><style>.stk-1ecd806 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-1ecd806 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Expenditures on shelters, the purchase of buses, and the modernization of schools will increase more than fourfold (to UAH 11.8 billion).<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1f093e4 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"1f093e4\"><style>.stk-1f093e4 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-1f093e4 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Also, UAH 500 million is provided for the purchase of computer equipment, ensuring high-speed access to the network, etc.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-5c1724e p-indent\" data-block-id=\"5c1724e\"><style>.stk-5c1724e {margin-bottom:0px !important;}.stk-5c1724e .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important;}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Thus, the main areas of expenditure on education and science in 2025 are the development of educational infrastructure, increasing the level of digitalization, and improving the quality of education at all
