In particular:<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-95fb754 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"95fb754\"><style>.stk-95fb754{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-95fb754 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Even in his youth, Ivan Kotlyarevsky was amazed by the richness and beauty of folk art, language, and customs. His enthusiasm and impressions grew into studying the everyday life of the Ukrainian people. Dressed in a young man&#039;s clothes, he closely observed the ancient way of life of Ukrainians, listened to conversations, studied customs, beliefs, and rituals. He wrote down songs, proverbs, humorous sayings, anecdotes, and legends...<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-9bf3bc1 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"9bf3bc1\"><style>.stk-9bf3bc1{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-9bf3bc1 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Ivan Petrovich Kotlyarevsky played the violin well and had a wonderful voice. Having finished the duties assigned to the teacher by his master, in the evening he would go to his room, take the violin down from the wall, and all the anxieties, resentments, mental worries, and everyday troubles would disappear somewhere far away.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0563dc9 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"0563dc9\"><style>.stk-0563dc9{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-0563dc9 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">Ivan Petrovich has a great merit in the revival of cultural life in Poltava. As the director of the Poltava Theater, he devoted a lot of energy and attention to the cause of raising the culture of stage skills in his hometown. Thanks to Kotlyarevsky&#039;s activities, Poltava residents were able to see the best plays of that time.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-79f35c0 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"79f35c0\"><style>.stk-79f35c0{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-79f35c0 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">For the children of the Home deprived of their families, Ivan Petrovich was a father - strict, demanding and at the same time kind, attentive, fair. He abolished physical punishment. He organized various entertainments for the children: trips to nature, Christmas trees, caroling and giving gifts, as well as performances of small plays, in which he himself played together with the children. He also made sure that the students received sufficient knowledge in various subjects, were well-mannered...<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-b272ffa p-indent\" data-block-id=\"b272ffa\"><style>.stk-b272ffa{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-b272ffa .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">His works are a treasury of Ukrainianness, which reveals a powerful layer not only of our history, but also of mental attributes, folk customs, and rituals that have always surprised and continue to fascinate the world community.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-e611083 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"e611083\"><style>.stk-e611083{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-e611083 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">They say that Kotlyarevsky&#039;s &quot;Aeneid&quot; was even in Napoleon&#039;s library. Ukrainians, that&#039;s what they are.
