This holiday was established on August 23, 2004 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma: <em>&quot;In honor of the centuries-old history of Ukrainian statehood, the state symbols of independent Ukraine, and in order to foster respect among citizens for the state symbols of Ukraine&quot;<\/em>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block of these is the spiritual anthem of Ukraine - a solemn song, also known as\u00a0<strong>&quot;God, the great, the only one, protect Ukraine for us&quot; or &quot;Prayer for Ukraine.&quot; <\/strong>Written in 1885, the music was composed by Mykola Lysenko and the lyrics by Oleksandr Konysky. Today, the work is officially recognized as the spiritual anthem of Ukraine on a par with the state anthem.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-a6e1665 p-indent\" data-block-id=\"a6e1665\"><style>.stk-a6e1665{margin-bottom:0px !important}.stk-a6e1665 .stk-block-text__text{letter-spacing:-0.1px !important}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-justify\">On August 23, 2024, students of the 31st and 32nd Land and Law Departments attended an event to set a national record for Ukraine &quot;The Most Mass Performance of the Spiritual Anthem of Ukraine by Children Under 10 Years Old&quot;, which was held with the assistance of the Culture Department of the Rivne City Council in the courtyard of the Holy Intercession Cathedral. The students joined in a joint prayer to support the little patriots, but first of all to ask the Lord for peace in Ukraine, and the speedy return of our brave soldiers with
